When you wish to download, save, or delete multiple items at once, the multi-select feature in Kive is a useful tool.

There are two methods to activate the multi-select function:

Individual selection

  1. Hover your cursor over an item.

  2. Click the circle that appears to select the item.

  3. Continue this process to select all desired objects.

Drag-and-select

  1. Click and hold in the item grid margin.

  2. While holding the mouse button down, drag the cursor over the items you wish to select.

  3. Release the mouse button once all desired items have been highlighted.

Currently, you can't select all items with a single click. Instead, you'll need to drag to select multiple items. We know bulk selection is important to you, and and hope to bring this into the product soon.

Managing selection

Once you've selected your desired items, the toolbar located at the bottom center of your screen provides several options for managing your selection. Here's what you can do:

  • Review and deselect items: The toolbar shows the total number of currently selected items. If necessary, you can easily deselect all items with a single click.

  • Share to Discover: Share your chosen items with the Kive community by making them publicly visible in the Discover section.

  • Save to board: Organize your selected items by saving them to a specific board for future reference.

  • Add Tag: Enhance searchability by adding relevant tags to your selected items.

  • Generate Social Asset: Create engaging content for your social media platforms using your selected items.

  • Download: Save the selected items to your device for offline use or backup.

  • Delete: Remove any unwanted items from your selection.

Note: these actions are only available in your own Library and don't apply to content from the Discover section.
