Kive is an excellent tool for presenting your ideas through beautiful boards filled with curated collections from your library. In this guide, we'll show you how to create, add content, share, and download items from a board in Kive.

Create a board

Creating a board is simple, here is how:

  1. Head to the 'Boards' section, click on "Create new board", located in the top right corner.

  2. Add a title, and an optional description and icon.

  3. You can also organize your boards by adding sub-boards. Simply press '+ Create new board' to create related boards.

Adding items

There are several ways to add items to your board.

  1. Add suggested items from Discover, located at the bottom of your screen in your new board.

  2. Generate items by utilizing AI and clicking on 'Start with AI'.

  3. Add items from your desktop or library, by clicking on 'Add items'.

  4. Drag and drop items from your library to a board.

  5. Hover over any item in your library or Discover and click on 'Save', located in the upper right corner of the item.

Customizing your board

Rearrange items

In boards, you can manually rearrange items to fit your vision.

  • Simply click and hold an item and drag it into your desired position on the board.

Change item grid size

To change the size of your item grid view:

  • Move your cursor over an item to make the size lever appear.

  • Drag the lever to increase item sizes and back to decrease the item sizes.

Sharing boards

You can easily share boards with anyone, even those who don't have a Kive account or are a part of your workspace. Here's how to share a board:

  1. Head over to the board you want to share.

  2. Click on the “share” button located in the top right corner.

  3. Open the 'Link access' dropdown and choose the level of access you want to grant the recipients.

  4. After making your selection, click on "Copy Link."

Now that the link has been copied you can simply share it with team members, collaborators, and clients. These people can react or comment on the items you've collected.

Please note that sharing the primary board will automatically make all associated sub-boards visible to the recipient of the link. If you wish to share a specific board only, you can do so by opening that board and following the aforementioned steps.

Privacy Disclaimer

Sharing a board grants the recipient access solely to the content of that particular project or board, without revealing any other portions of your library.

Reactions, comments, and filters

Boards in Kive are perfect for getting and giving instant feedback on ideas.

  • You and the recipients of your board can leave reactions and comments on any individual item.

  • You'll be notified as soon as a recipient comments or reacts.

  • You can use filters to sort items based on selected reactions, which is perfect for selection processes.
